About the Role As a Pharmacy Technician, you will work within the standards and scope of practice established by the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia and support the delivery of safe, effective pharmacy services. Working closely with pharmacists and healthcare teams, you'll play a key role in ensuring patients receive accurate and timely medication care. Key responsibilities include: Processing medication orders that have been reviewed and authorized by a pharmacist. Receiving and reviewing prescriptions for completeness and authenticity. Preparing, processing, and compounding prescriptions. Performing final checks and verifying the accuracy of dispensed medications. Processing prescriptions for temporary inpatient leaves. Transferring prescriptions to and from other pharmacies. Maintaining accurate patient and medication records within pharmacy information systems. Managing medication inventory and stock levels. Supporting pharmacy operations through various clerical and administrative duties. Qualifications Required Education & Registration Grade 12 graduation. Graduation from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Current practicing registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia. Work Schedule Monday to Friday, Days - 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Please note that future rotations will include weekend shifts. Why Join Northern Health? Exigences

Candidates must have a Grade 12 diploma and graduation from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program. A current practicing registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia is required.
